- Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) has hired Nigel Denby as Asia-Pacific chief risk officer (CRO) in Hong Kong. He succeeds Chris Page, who became group CRO in August, following the departure of David Stephen. Having started at ANZ on November 3, Denby reports to Page and Alex Thursby, head of Asia-Pacific operations. Denby was previously Asia ex-Japan head for risk management and credit at Nomura in Hong Kong, a role he took up in April this year. Before that, he spent 25 years at
