Rahul Merchant has left his post as senior vice president and global head of technology at Sanwa Financial Products to join Dresdner Kleinwort Benson's North American operation as executive vice president and head of information technology and operations.

Merchant will report to George Fugelsang, chief executive of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson North America. He also sits on the bank's management
