Kenneth Marshall will be joining Reuters America as executive president and chief administrative officer, with responsibility for risk, internal control and compliance. His goals will include streamlining Reuters' administrative process and strengthening Reuters' internal control and compliance programmes. Marshall was previously Salomon Smith Barney's global chief administrative officer.

Carolyn Chin has also been hired by Reuters America as executive vice president and chief marketing officer
