Bank of Boston has appointed Randy Kaufman as managing director of its new derivatives structuring group. She will be responsible for structuring derivatives to meet clients' legal, tax, accounting and regulatory needs, says a bank spokesperson.

Prior to joining Bank of Boston, Kaufman was global product manager for special vehicle transactions at JP Morgan.
