Bankers Trust has appointed Kevin Ferrell as managing director and head of its risk management advisory business (RMO, January 15). Ferrell had previously been chief financial officer at McKesson Corporation, a San Francisco-based pharmaceuticals company.

Ferrell will report jointly to Rodney McLauchlan and Yves de Balmann. McLauchlan is Bankers' New York-based head of client development, while de Balmann is chairman of Bankers Trust International and has overall responsibility for the bank's
