As part of several promotions within SunGard, SunGard Risk Integration Systems has named James Ashton chief executive officer of the group. Greg Pond was appointed group chief executive officer of SunGard Securities and Treasury Systems. Rick McCarthy was named group chief executive officer of the newly-formed SunGard Energy Trading Systems.
