As part of several promotions within SunGard, SunGard Risk Integration Systems has named James Ashton chief executive officer of the group. Greg Pond was appointed group chief executive officer of SunGard Securities and Treasury Systems. Rick McCarthy was named group chief executive officer of the newly-formed SunGard Energy Trading Systems.

Lewis Goldman has left his position as managing director of the financial product group at FIMAT USA. Information as to his new position was not available
