DAVID Gilbert, C*ATS' newly appointed head of enterprise-wide risk management, has outlined the reasoning behind his recent move from U.K.-based systems integrator Logica to the Californian risk management software house.

Gilbert has been intimately involved in strategic asset/liability and enterprise-wide risk management from a variety of perspectives for 25 years now, most recently as head of Logica's international risk management business unit.
