IIF appoints regulatory head

WASHINGTON, DC -- The Institute of International Finance (IIF) has appointed Peter McCarthy as deputy managing director, in charge of the organisation’s regulatory and member services.

McCarthy is a former Bank One senior vice-president, most recently based in London as area head for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He also served in Tokyo between 1993 and 1997 as area head for the Asia Pacific region for the same institution.

The IIF is an international association of financial institutions
