Barclays Capital has announced a series of appointments and promotions, which have made Alan Brown the new group risk director, and Michael O'Neill chief executive officer. Brown is presently a vice-chairman of Barclays Capital, responsible for development of the firm's credit business and the integration of market and credit risk.
