JP Morgan hires in credit correlation

Vigneron is expected to start at the bank in September and will probably head up the credit correlation trading team, according to someone familiar with the matter.

A JP Morgan spokesperson declined to comment, but it is believed Vigneron will report to Jonathan Slater, global head of credit hybrid trading at JP Morgan.

Vigneron had reported to Stephane Delacote, global head of structured credit trading and arbitrage at BNP, until he left in April. Delacote has since been replaced by Benjamin Jacquard, who joined the bank from Calyon (the investment banking arm of Credit Agricole) in June.
