More staff changes at Bear Stearns

Bear Stearns has appointed Morad Mahlouji and David Austin as co-heads of fixed-income sales in Europe, based in London.

Both Mahlouji and Austin are moving from other positions within the bank. Mahlouji was head of European derivatives sales and Austin ran European credit sales. These appointments follow a string of changes since Michel Péretié's promotion to chief executive of Europe. Under Péretié, Bear Stearns is also combining its debt and equity origination teams in Europe. The bank said the changes are aimed at growing its business in the region.
