Bear Stearns recruits credit derivatives staff

Bear Stearns has made a number of credit derivatives hires in London.

Alan Yeoh has joined as co-head of structured credit trading in Europe, working alongside fellow co-head Tim Armitage. He previously worked at Credit Suisse, where he spent 10 years in credit derivatives at the bank’s London and New York offices. In his new role, he reports to Martin St Pierre, Bear Stearns’ global head of structured credit trading.

Meanwhile, Alberto Gallo and Abel Elizalde have both joined the bank from Merrill Lynch. Gallo becomes head of credit derivatives strategy, while Elizalde has been appointed to the credit derivatives strategy team. At Merrill, they were based in London and covered credit derivatives strategy in North America, Europe and Asia.
