CBOE names Tilly as vice-chairman

The Chicago Board of Exchange has re-appointed Edward Tilly as vice-chairman of the exchange for 2006.

Tilly served as vice-chairman, the board's highest elected post, in 2004 and 2005. He joined the board in 1989 and became a member of the board in 1998.

2006 will be his last term as vice-chairman - CBOE rules allow a maximum of three years in the post. As vice-chairman, Tilly was involved in the launch of the CBOE hybrid trading system, and served on various committees. Last month he was re-elected for another three years as a floor director; he also serves as chairman of the floor directors' committee.
