Flesaker quits MBIA for Morgan Stanley

Based in New York, Flesaker will head the US investment bank’s quantitative credit analysis unit reporting to Morgan Stanley’s global head of fixed-income quantitative research Joseph Langsam.

He will join the firm next month.

Flesaker previously worked at Bear Stearns, Merrill Lynch, UBS and Gen Re Financial Products.
