Barclays Wealth hires new head of FX

Barclays Wealth, the wealth management arm of Barclays, has appointed Mireia Sitjas-Montaner in the new position of head of foreign exchange for the investment and product office.

Sitjas-Montaner will take charge of the bank’s foreign exchange centres in Geneva, Hong Kong, Singapore, Monaco and Jersey. She will be based in London and will report to Kevin Lecocq, the firm’s chief investment officer.

Montaner joins from HSBC, where she was associate director for FX bank sales and global markets.
