Barclays Capital brings in Stephen Jones

Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays Bank, has hired Stephen Jones as its London-based head of corporate risk management for Europe and head of the newly formed financing solutions group.

In his primary position, as head of corporate risk management Europe - a newly created role - Jones will be responsible for all risk management business for corporates in Europe, excluding the UK.

Jones reports jointly to Mark Kibblewhite, Barclay Capital's London-based head of investment banking, and Christophe Angely, head of debt capital markets southern Europe. He joins the firm from Schroder Salomon Smith Barney, where he was a head of European corporate equity derivatives.
