Deutsche Bank names chief credit officer

Stuart Lewis has been named Deutsche Bank's chief credit officer and deputy chief risk officer, a newly-created position.

Lewis, who is based in London, will start work on December 1, moving from his current job as head of the loan exposure management group. He will be replaced by Sean Kavanagh, currently the New York-based deputy head of the group with responsibility for the Americas.

Lewis will report to Hugo Banziger, Deutsche Bank's chief risk officer. Kavanagh will report to Bruce Rigal, chief operating officer global banking, and Mark Ferron, chief operating officer global markets.
