Reuters beefs-up treasury team

Christopher Masters takes on a new role as director of strategy, marketing and projects for Reuters Treasury Services (RTS), reporting to that division’s managing director Julie Holland.

Shaheen Chohan will lead the team’s global knowledge management initiatives. He was previously global knowledge manager at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young.

Stuart Brown joins Masters’ team as head of marketing, responsible for developing and driving marketing plans and activities. Brown has worked for Reuters for over six years in a variety of treasury product management roles.

Masters told RiskNews’ sister publication FX Weekthe new, London-based roles, complement each other: "Stuart knows Reuters’ treasury services product set very well and Shaheen is an expert in knowledge management."

The new team pulls together the firm’s strategy, marketing and knowledge into one area to drive business strategy, market segmentation, solutions development and improved customer service across the treasury services group, Reuters said.
