BGC names Aubin global head of listed products

Interdealer broker BGC has appointed Jean-Pierre Aubin as global head of listed products, based in New York.

He will be globally responsible for further developing BGC’s voice and electronic broking services in listed products, including equity derivatives, cash equity, futures and options on futures, and primary structured products for the group. He was previously president for continental Europe. In his new role he will continue to report to Shaun Lynn, president of BGC.

Aubin’s tasks since he joined the group in 2005 have included the establishment and growth of operations in Copenhagen, Denmark and Nyon, Switzerland, the acquisitions and integration of brokers ETC Pollak and Aurel Leven, and the development of BGC’s capabilities in listed products.

Sean Robinson has joined the group as managing director and will be responsible for BGC’s office in Nyon. Robinson joins from Dresdner Kleinwort, where he ran the fixed-income flow trading business. He will report to Aubin.
