ABN Amro adds to institutional forex sales

ABN Amro has made three new hires in institutional foreign exchange sales – part of its global financial markets business. All three report to Chicago-based Robert Rodman, ABN's global head of forex product sales to financial institutions and the public sector.

Matt Annenberg joins in the newly created position of director of forex analytic sales, based in New York. Annenberg was senior portfolio manager at Citigroup Asset Management in London from 1998, where he developed the foreign exchange overlay group and was responsible for forex hedging and trading strategies. He has also worked as head trader on the forex forward desk at Citibank in New York and in the foreign exchange departments of Tokai Bank and Chemical Bank in New York.

Jeffrey Huisinga, meanwhile, joins the US institutional foreign exchange sales team in Chicago from Morgan Stanley, where he was a vice-president of foreign exchange. He has also worked in the foreign exchange departments at State Street and Brown Brothers Harriman in New York.

Peter Snasdell joins the UK institutional forex sales desk in London from a similar role at Japan’s Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank. Snasdale has also worked in foreign exchange at Bank of Montreal. At ABN he will primarily cover hedge funds.
