MFA's derivatives research foundation elects Handzy to board

The Foundation for Managed Derivatives Research (FMDR) has elected Damian Handzy to serve as a director on its board. Handzy is chairman and chief executive of Investor Analytics, a New York-based risk and portfolio management services firm.

Established in 1994 by the Managed Funds Association (MFA), a hedge fund trade group, the Washington D.C.-based foundation supports research on derivatives.

Handzy replaces Randy Warsager on the FMDR's board; Warsager is a vice president in the alternative investments group at Calyon Financial in New York.
