RTS said Dempsey’s extensive contacts book and global relationships were the key factors supporting his hire. He has previously held senior marketing and sales positions at New York-based market and credit risk model software company Advanced Portfolio Technologies and Chicago-based risk analysis software Expert Systems Group.

He will report directly to the board, and concentrate primarily on international training and consulting activities from his base in Chicago.
