MBIA moves to boost Asian structuring business

Monoline insurer MBIA has recruited Hee Suk Noh from Bank of America’s global asset-backed securitisation team to boost its marketing effort in Tokyo.

Noh will identify opportunities for MBIA’s financial guarantees business and work with bankers in structuring transactions.

At Bank of America, Noh worked in business development and the execution of conduit and public asset-backed securitisation transactions. Prior to this, he worked at ABN Amro and Korea Exchange Bank.

MBIA managing director and head of Asia-Pacific Steven Cooke said Noh had strong expertise in ABS and other structured financings in South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, China and India.
