SG's Raphael Blot departs

Sources say that the departure of Blot, who is credited with building up SG's equity derivatives business in Hong Kong over the past five years, is part of a restructuring of the bank's equity derivatives group, which has seen various new appointments recently within the equity derivatives and structured products division.

SG officials declined to comment on Blot's departure, but the bank is expected to make an announcement regarding its new equity derivatives strategy soon.
