Calyon appoints new London treasurer

Calyon's Asia-Pacific treasurer, Phillipe Cotillon, is set to leave the French bank's Hong Kong office to take up a similar treasury role in London, according to RiskNews ' sister publication FX Week .

The move follows an expansion of Calyon’s global foreign exchange options franchise in the latter half of last year, when it built up its structuring and trading capabilities in Asia.

The bank boosted its options trading capabilities by hiring Colin George and David Turner as senior traders. George joined from French rival BNP Paribas in Singapore, while Turner joined from ANZ, where he worked as a senior trader.
