Merrill’s equities trading head joins Citi

Mike Pringle, Merrill Lynch’s former head of equities trading for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has joined Citi in the same role.

Pringle will be responsible for all client trading activity in the region, which will primarily be equities derivatives trading. His duties also include improving cross-product integration, introducing new technologies and enhancing focus on risk awareness in the bank’s business.

He will be based in London and will report to Derek Bandeen, Citi's global head of equity trading, who is also based in London.
