SG promotes forex options staff

SG named Richard Giltner as global head of foreign exchange options. Giltner has worked in options at the bank since joining in Chicago in 1991. Paris-based Giltner will report jointly to co-heads of foreign exchange and treasury Stéphane Landon and Vincent Cazala.

Cazala, previously head of debt finance in Tokyo, has moved back to London to take up his new role. He is also a long serving employee, having joined the bank in 1990.

Jean-Baptiste Destremau, who previously held Giltner’s role of global head of foreign exchange options, replaces Cazala in Tokyo, where he joined the bank as an options trader in 1992. Previously he had headed up the bank's forex options unit in Paris since 2000.
