Royal Bank of Scotland appoints e-commerce business developer

The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has transferred Clive Standish to its New York office as vice-president and e-commerce business developer, within the North America financial markets team.

Standish was previously at the bank’s London office, where he was most recently production manager for the electronic foreign exchange distribution service. RBS said he has extensive experience in a number of treasury markets roles, both within sales and support. He was part of the team that developed the bank’s current suite of forex and money markets e-commerce products, it added.

Standish takes up his post immediately and reports to Matt Thomas, head of e-commerce North America for RBS Financial Markets.
