SG expands Chinese commodities team

Societe Generale has named Stephanie Clement de Givry as its new head of commodities finance in China.

De Givry will move from Paris, where she was a director in SG's metals and minerals structured commodity finance team, covering the Commonwealth of Independent States, sub-Saharan Africa and Asia.

Leading the three-strong SG team in China, she will focus on providing structured commodity finance, mining project finance, reserve base finance and trade finance to companies active in the energy and commodity sectors in China.

She will report to SG's head of structured commodity and mining finance, Pierre Palmieri.
