Olson and Goldshmidt join RBC in emerging markets

Olson becomes head of emerging markets US trading, while Goldshmidt joins as a director. Both will be based in New York.

Olson formerly worked at HSBC as head of Latin America trading. Goldshmidt, meanwhile, headed the local markets fixed-income and derivatives trading operation at UBS, specialising in Latin America and eastern Europe.

At RBC, both report functionally to European fixed-income and currency head John Greenslade, while reporting regionally to Jonathan Hunter, global co-head of fixed income and currencies.
