Crouch joins the company from the US private investment bank Moors & Cabot, based in Boston, where he was head of investment banking. He will be based in New York, and will be the company's first head of corporate development.

SuperDerivatives chief executive David Gershon said: "Ed will be developing initiatives with leading market participants and will be working with leaders of the global banking, accounting and corporate communities, as well as with central banks and regulatory bodies."
