JP Morgan's Asia head of energy trading moves to London

Ouyang Xiuzhang will replace Salti, joining from Goldman Sachs, where he has held several positions trading distillates and crude oil over the past 10 years. Xiuzhang’s experience covers physical and derivatives trading, including vanilla and exotic options.

Salti’s move will place him in the time zone most conducive to effective engagement with traders in all three time zones, allowing the fuel oil group to better capitalise on its global presence, said a memo seen by Asia Risk.

Both Salti and Xiuzhang report to Brian Cumming, London-based global head of oil trading at JP Morgan.
