BNP expands credit derivatives team

BNP Paribas has created four new posts on its fixed-income structured products and derivatives team in London.

Vincenzo Gambino joins BNP from the Royal Bank of Scotland in Milan, where he was responsible for derivatives sales to insurers, while Giovanni Rubino was a marketer on Deutsche Bank’s Italian sales desk. Both will work together on Italian structured products and derivatives.

Ahmed Muallah and Omar Chebli will be responsible for fixed-income rates and credit distribution in the Middle East, having moved from Deutsche Bank in London. They served with Deutsche’s global markets coverage team as a director and vice-president, respectively.

All four report to Joe Lovrics and Massimiliano Viglienghi, co-heads of BNP’s structured products and derivatives sales team.
