Barclays Capital continues to build equity derivatives unit

Barclays Capital has continued the expansion of its equity derivatives department with the appointments of Ed Ware, Javier Martin and Tetsuo Majima.

Ware joins as an associate director in investor solutions, based in the UK investment bank's New York office. Previously, he worked at BNP Paribas in fund derivatives sales for institutional clients.

Martin will join the equity derivatives sales team, targeting Spanish clients, dividing his time between Madrid and London. Before joining the bank, he held similar roles at Société Générale and Citigroup.

Based in Tokyo, Majima joins as an equity derivatives structurer. He has worked for Merrill Lynch, where he spent nine years in equity derivatives structuring and marketing and, most recently, Deutsche Bank, where he was a marketer in the strategic equity transaction group.
