Korolev to lead Calyon high yield business

Andrei Korolev has joined Calyon in London as head of high yield trading, part of the bank's expansion of its sub-investment grade operation in Europe.

Korolev will be responsible for trading European high yield cash and credit default swaps, and will report to Calyon's global head of high yield, Tim Hall. He will work alongside Kenton Jernigan, appointed as head of high yield sales in June.

Korolev was formerly senior trader in European high yield, crossover and distressed at BNP Paribas in London.
