New CFO for Reech Capital

Reech Capital, a London-based risk management consultancy, has hired Richard Gilbey as its new chief financial officer. Gilbey joins Reech from Indochina Asset Management, where he most recently served as chief investment officer in Southeast Asia, managing private equity funds.

Gilbey told RiskNews that the CFO role is a newly created position, and that he will manage the firm’s expansion across continental Europe, Asia and into the US market.

In March last year Reech acquired French derivatives consultancy and application services provider service firm Netquant, as its first step towards expanding the firm’s global reach. Reech’s products include RiskHedge, designed to give hedge fund managers access to sophisticated risk technology previously only available to large investment banks.
