Charles-Henri Filippi set to head CCF

Currently the global head of corporate and institutional banking at HSBC, Filippi will be returning to the division he joined 17 years ago as special adviser to the chief executive. He worked in the corporate finance division from 1989.

As well as leading CCF, he will be responsible for co-ordinating HSBC’s strategy in the eurozone.

De Croisset joined CCF in 1980, though he spent one year as the chief of staff of the state minister of the economy in France in 1987.

“We shall miss having Charles as a colleague, but we are fortunate that as talented and experienced an executive as Charles-Henri is succeeding him,” said John Bond, chairman of HSBC.
