Tradition hires five in inflation

Interdealer broker Tradition has added to its inflation team across Europe and appointed a new desk head, John Cullen.

Cullen joins from London-based BGC, where he built and managed the brokerage’s inflation desk. He will be joined by Yomi Akin-Olugbemi, who worked alongside him at BGC.

Marco Paonessa joins Tradition in Milan from Paris-based broker HPC, while Antoine Schaefer, also from HPC, joins the inflation trading desk in Paris. He will work with Christian Orlando, who moves across to the Paris desk from Tradition’s parent company, Viel.

The appointments in inflation closely follow Tradition hiring a new foreign exchange team in London (See also: Tradition launches FX desk in London).
