SGCIB names new derivatives sales chiefs

Sofiene Haj-Taieb, head of financial engineering, will now also take the post of deputy to the head of global equities and derivatives solutions (GEDS), Christophe Mianné. Nicolas Miara-Godet, formerly head of structured product sales for Europe, will take the newly created position of global head of equity derivatives sales.

Daniel Fields, formerly head of flow and listed products, replaces Pierre-Ives Morlat as GEDS head of trading. The head of exotic trading, Richard Quessette, will be his deputy.

SGCIB brought Mianné back from his role as head of global markets to resume his post as head of GEDS last month, after the departure of former GEDS head Luc Francois, along with fixed-income head Luc Breillout.
