
Kamakura hires Matz as senior VP
Previously, Matz was the founder and a principal of Neshannock Financial, where he worked for nine years as an author, trainer and consultant. Prior to that, he spent 16 years as a banker for three different companies including Equibank where he was senior vice-president in charge of credit risk management, and at Michigan National Bank of Detroit and Michigan National Corporation, where he was senior vice-president in charge of funds management.
Matz has also been a member of the North American Asset and Liability Management Association, a financial risk management association for North American banks, since 1989.
