Griffith named as new DGCX chairman

The Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange has named Colin Griffith as its new chairman, replacing David Rutledge.

Rutledge will remain a director of the exchange, and will also retain his position as chief executive of the Dubai Metals and Commodities Centre. He is stepping down to focus on his responsibilities at the centre.

Griffith was previously executive director of gold and precious metals at the centre.
