Bank of America strengthens structured credit team
Dash is a former vice president in Morgan Stanley's CDO capital markets business, and Rice is the former head of credit restructuring and marketing at BNP Paribas in New York.
Mike McLaughlin, head of global structured products marketing and origination, says: “The appointments are part of the growth strategy because the business is still in a growth mode; we have not replaced anyone, we are just adding to the team.”
Rice told RiskNews: “This was a right opportunity at the right time.” Both started in late July. The bank plans to make more appointments in the near future. The global structured marketing and origination team at BoA consists of about 20 people at the moment.
