Travelex bolsters US risk solutions unit

The New York-based team will help customers to mitigate foreign exchange risk, including transactional and balance sheet hedging. All will report to Rob Wittmann, senior vice-president for commercial FX.

Donald Lloyd will join the risk solutions group as a vice-president from a previous position heading the North American FX desk at the Bank of Montreal. He has . worked in forex for 25 years. His team will consist of Mark Rodger, Ian Goodwin and Alex Hodarkovsky.

Rodger joins from QAMG Trading, which offers FX trading strategies and analysis. Prior to that, he was a proprietary trader of Canadian dollar options and strategic markets at the Royal Bank of Canada.

Goodwin, who has been at Travelex for five years, joins the team from the firm's North American trading desk, where he was a senior trader.

Completing the team is Hodarkovsky, who was also a senior trader on Travelex's New York desk.
