Barclays Capital strengthens in forex sales

Barclays Capital has hired two directors to work in the foreign exchange sales team. The UK-based bank said it would focus on broadening US corporate sales coverage.

Noel O’Reilly comes from Ernst & Young, where he headed the derivatives valuation centre within the financial services advisory group. He was with the consultancy for two years, before which he was a financial and commodity risk consultant with Arthur Andersen.

Robert Maryott joins after nine years with JP Morgan Chase, where he worked most recently in forex sales.

Based in New York, the pair will report to the head of US corporate foreign exchange distribution, Rose Noritake.
