Idzik exiting as BarCap COO
He formerly served as chief operating officer at Barclays Capital, having joined the firm in 1999.
Idzik will leave the group at some point later this year, according to a statement released by Barclays. The firm said no replacement will be sought for him, as his responsibilities will instead be assumed by the existing chief operating officers for the firm’s two main business arms: global retail and commercial banking, and investment banking and investment management.
