SG strengthens equity derivatives sales

SG, the investment banking arm of Société Générale, has appointed Fredrik Langley and Raman Khosla to its equity derivatives structured products sales team in London. Both take the title executive director, a new position within the group.

Langley works with institutional investors focusing on Scandinavian clients. He joins from GAM, the specialist asset manager arm of UBS.

Khosla joins from Fortis Bank, where he was managing director of prime banking. He works within the UK institutional sales team.

Both hires report to head of equity derivatives for the UK and northern Europe, David Escoffier, who said the hires reflect a strong commitment by the bank to boost its structured products sales capabilities in London.
