JP Morgan hires Asia structured product marketing head

JP Morgan has relocated David Hansson to Hong Kong as head of structured investments distributor marketing (SIDM) for Asia ex-Japan and Australia.

Hansson was was previously head of the bank's Nordic SIDM team in London. In his new role, he replaces John Robson, who left JP Morgan in May 2007. Since then, Patrick Moisy, Asia head of equity derivatives in Hong Kong, has looked after the post.

Hansson's primary responsibility will be to develop the bank's equity-linked structured products distribution platform. He will work with Hong Kong-based Charles Wong, head of Asia ex-Japan fixed-income products for SIDM, to run the cross-asset offering.

Hansson reports to Moisy and Beat von Gunten, global head of SIDM in London.
