BNP hires Docherty as global head of financial institutions advisory

Docherty, who is based in London, will report to Denis Autier, head of global risk solutions (GRS) and will work with the bank’s debt capital market team.

Before moving to BNP Paribas, Docherty first served as a strategy consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton Financial Services. He then spent three years as COO of investment banking at Barclays, before moving to the advisory team in Barclays Capital's Financial Institutions group.
