New York-based transaction processing technology company, Summit Systems, has promoted David Kennedy to managing director of its consulting services unit. Kennedy succeeds Kathy Perrotte, who is retiring from the company after 12 years of service.

Kennedy has spent 11 years at Summit, most recently as director of consulting and technical services in London. His new team includes Tim Glauner, who will now manage all North American consulting services, and John Fryer, who takes on responsibility for all sales and marketing activity.

Before joining Summit, Kennedy held development positions at a number of Australian banks.
