Lloyds TSB hires liquidity risk and balance sheet manager

Lloyds TSB, the UK bank, has hired Mark Preston as a new managing director in its financial markets unit that manages liquidity risk and balance sheet requirements.

Preston joins after 10 years as chief executive for the European operations of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce Europe.

Prior to working at CIBC Europe, Preston was head of derivatives interest rate trading at Chemical Bank Europe.

He will start at Lloyds TSB on December 6.
